I would like to share some very exciting news with you. This month and next month I’ll be reaching out to the community by selling and signing my books at the Saltdean Gala Dog Show and at the Eastbourne Fun Family Dog Show!
Recently I’ve been thinking what I can do to try and sell my latest book ‘Ooh Yes I Woof!’ The book is about the adventures of our miniature schnauzer’s first year and some of his exciting adventures took place in Hove, Brighton, Eastbourne and Dover. One of the things that kept on popping up in my mind was that I wanted to reach out to the local community because the stories are set in the South East of England, and the book may appeal to them or their children.
In May our friends Kate and Steve invited us over to a Fun Dog Show in Seaford. It was the first time we did this and I must we thoroughly enjoyed it. On the way back home I came up with the plan to see if I could have a market stall myself at one of the local dog shows. I thought it would be the perfect place to promote ‘Ooh Yes I Woof!’ – the adventures of a miniature schnauzer’ amongst the local community. And so it happened!
We’re all prepared for the market: we’ve got a brand new ‘pop-up’ gazebo, newly printed flyers of both my books and lots of balloons and decorations. It’s going to be fun!
A poster size board of the book cover will be on display so please look for out for a pink book cover with an image of a black and silver Miniature Schnauzer.
It would be great if you could pop over and say hello 😃
We’re looking forward to see you!
I’ll be doing the Saltdean Brighton show together with Taylor Pet Services.
It may be interesting to know that I’ve chosen the locations of the shows on purpose. In the chapter ‘Tracie Heart and the Red Speed Demon’ Buster did visit the cliffs in Saltdean and the tennis grounds in Eastbourne.
