The Gluten Free Cookbook: a recipe for success?

Out of the four books I have independently published, the Gluten Free Mediterranean Cookbook is the most popular one. It still sells on Amazon over two years after its release, most notably in the US. There’s been a sudden interest in the book since November last year, and I’m very grateful the cookbook is finally doing well. Alongside the physical book, it’s interesting to see that readers appear to be very interested in the Kindle book.

Some have said the e-book market has been in decline for the past six years, but E-book reading did suddenly boom during the Covid 19 outbreak. The pandemic forced bookstores and libraries to close across the country, which has ignited a surge in reading electronic books. The fact is, during the pandemic, it was one of the easiest ways to get new books and libraries and publishers reported a high demand for digital books. Ebooks and digital audiobooks are selling better than usual, alongside the print books Amazon and a few others manage to deliver.

Fortunately all book independent and larger book stores have now reopened, and relieved book worms can browse and buy physical books again. Personally, I prefer a physical book, a print on paper still wins. I just love the feel of a book in my hand.

Could the ‘Gluten Free Mediterranean Cookbook’ become a recipe for success? I’m keeping my fingers crossed.

I would like to thank all of you who has purchased a copy, or will be purchasing one, and I hope you’ll enjoy the naturally gluten free recipes!
