This year I’ve booked four Saturdays at the Brighton Open Market to become a plaza trader. I’ll be selling my cookbook ‘The Gluten Free Mediterranean Cookbook’.
The dates for your diary are: Saturday 21st March, Saturday 23rd May, Saturday12th and 19th December 2020.
The Brighton Open Market is situated in the heart of the London Road community in Brighton. The market boasts over 45 permanent independent retail units, artists’ studios, and an exciting mix of plaza traders. The market includes cafes, local produce, clothing, toys, art, music, art, live music, workshops, and it’s home to Radio Reverb.
The stalls are available for market traders looking to locally made or sourced goods, as well as a range of other products and services that you would expect to find at any market. The open market is very open to authors and will do all they can to help.
Brighton Open Market, Marshalls Row, Brighton, BN1 4JU. The market is well-serviced by public transport. Brighton’s Main Rail Station and London Road Station are both only about a 10 minute walk away.
Brighton & Hove Book Fayre
In 2018, the second Brighton and Hove Christmas Book Fayre was held at the Open Market, before we found a more central (indoor) venue, the Brighton Unitarian Church opposite the Pavilion Gardens. Pete, Leanne, and I will continue to organise the Brighton & Hove Book Fayre and we have two further dates booked for 2020!
